I don't understand complaints

In my opinion, good electrical work is expressed in many small details, accuracy and consistency. I'll admit that stripping the same length of wire ends every time has gotten harder, not doing nearly as much as it used to. It comes back after I've worked - it only sees your eye. This little tool that I've been using for a while now gives a consistently clean finish when I can't. Basically you use it for 12 and 14 ga wiring with a 10 ga pull up in the third. Heavier gauge wire or direct penetration (UF) I can find a Knipex desoldering knife (KNIPEX 7-1/4 in. Desoldering knife with insulated handles rated for 1000V. Model # 98 53 13 (1)) also sold at Revain. If you use push-in connections, perfect splice lines, or Wago connections, you're sure to love this product as you can adjust this tool to the precise amount of bare wire required. use, I do not see any reduction in product or performance. I see downsides for a person stripping multiple wires a week. If you're a full-time electrician, possibly stripping hundreds of wires a day, then I have reason to believe that muscle memory and your eyesight will provide the consistency that comes with practice. I recommend this product, I also recommend getting a piece of wire and playing around with the tool before diving headfirst into your next project.
