I don't usually bother to write reviews so the fact that I'm in favor of this cutter says a lot. I'm very picky when it comes to cutters and have tried them all. I hate rotary cutters because they shift your page and can't be accurate. I hate Fiskars chain cutters because their plastic arms flex and wiggle in a jagged, straight line if squeezed too hard. But this tailor is great. It has a solid solid edge so it doesn't have any wobbly lines and cuts quickly. I usually cut thick translucent paper that looks like plastic and that cuts through it with no problem. I've also found in the past that many of my paper cutters take a few passes to cut thicker paper and the blades dull quickly. This blade is made of any metal that doesn't tarnish easily. It is also nice that the cutter has space to store additional spare blades. Overall it's worth the money and second only to the very expensive Rotatrim paper cutters I used in art school.
