This part is defective
The oil filter cover parts (spring and filter holder) were separately in a plastic bag and the filter cover holders cannot hold the spring and filter holder in place. In the MOPAR OEM filter cap, the retainers can hold the filter holder in place and are strong enough to pull the filter out of the housing. This is a design flaw. Without risking 30,000 Pacifica. Only buy an oil filter cap from a dealer.
