Review on πŸš— Bluetooth Single Din Car Stereo with FM Radio, USB, SD Card, AUX Input - Remote Control Included by Rodney Sample

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Great value for money but you get what you pay for.

Pros - For $25 you get a lot of bells and whistles. True to the description - remote control, USB charging socket, bluetooth, speakerphone, single din mount, wiring harness etc. I used this with an iPhone SE for music/handsfree testing after installation and was lucky enough to find a hidden aftermarket one wiring harness. in the dashboard to simplify the process. In total, it took about 20 minutes to connect all 13x connectors. The sound is decent as long as you don't aim to smash the windows with your sick, trunk-occupying bass box like all the big boys wanted to do in 2001. . I was also impressed by the small size of the device. Cons - 18-gauge aluminum wiring, cheap plastic buttons, no lighted cable entry, USB connection causes playback errors, weak remote feels like a toy and almost useless, awkward channel selection/programming, and clock only shows briefly when you a press press or turn off the device (why tweak something that never shows up?). The speakerphone volume is very low. I'm worried that if I go back to normal audio after the call ends, my speakers will burn out. A $25 radio I bought for my commuter car so I wouldn't have to listen to endless radio commercials in DC traffic mornings and afternoons. If you're looking to replace that old, barely working AM/FM cassette player with Bluetooth on a budget, this radio is for you! Best of all, I had no idea what the automatic voice with a mixed Chinese/British accent sounded like until I got the call and he read the number out loud, but I had a real treat.

Pros
  • Sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Communication with seller
