We wanted to install the TV in an enclosed cabinet in our garage next to the home gym - had to have a significant extension to get to the front of the cabinet with the door open. and pivot to view different areas during exercise. The Kanto PS400 does it all - it's very solid and moves smoothly. We only have a 32 inch TV but it is so durable that I think it would be nice with a bigger screen. I didn't do the installation myself because we had to make the back of the cabinet deep enough. to keep this unit safe but the guy we hired (whom we know well) said it was pretty easy to make and once installed it seemed very solid. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a large expansion range.
