As an art novice using markets and brushes instead of fabric and thread, I was a little disappointed with these metal pens. Unless you hold them up to the light at a certain angle, it's difficult to even see the metal inside them. Otherwise they just look like soft colors, which might be exactly what I'm looking for one day. This may change depending on what I use them for. At the moment I'm just trying out the different marker colors I've received recently. The black didn't look metallic at all and I couldn't see the white on the white paper and my black paper is buried as we are trying to do a major overhaul of my workshop and packed a lot of things so I could. Don't try white or any of the other colors on black paper. I love color and that's why I've always been a quilter, because the more colors the better for me. So I had a blast looking at all the different colors as I tried all my markers and paints. It was fun. Thank you for the opportunity to try and review them. I look forward to using them.
