I am currently dealing with Covid-19 and need a thermometer that is quick to read and easy to use. It stood out from all the rebranding crap. I have followed all the instructions, allowed the unit to acclimate to room temperature. The first scan returns a "Lo" error. Continues until the third read attempt. In the last 12 hours of multiple attempts I have had 2 first scan readings and 1 second scan reading that came up at 92.1 (oral thermometer read 97.2 F)? I needed this to measure the spread of a deadly virus, instead I got nothing but more frustration in an already overwhelmingly stressful situation. Maybe it's a bad unit, but I don't know how many "bad" units there are, so please think twice about this one, especially if you need an active health crisis!
