Review on Husky Liners 2014-15 Jeep Cherokee Weatherbeater Front & 2nd Seat Floor Mats: Ultimate Protection and Perfect Fit by Tim Harris

Not as good as everyone says

They provide good floor protection in two cars I've ordered them for: 1st 2014 Cherokee Latitude and 2nd 2015 Cherokee Latitude. I will say that but they are not as good in size or quality as the Weather Tech I have in my 2014 Cherokee Limited (yes I have 3 of these jeeps). They protect the carpet from salt and dirt and, unlike the Weather Tech, also lift all the way up on a dummy pedal on the left. The bad news is that the fit isn't as precise as Weather Tech's on the 2014 or 2015 model, both of which share the same floor pan. As previously mentioned, the hole used to attach the mats to the floor with the Jeep Mat Attachment System is incredibly small and you will need to cut them to a larger size to accommodate the attachment system. This is both stupid and dangerous as the material is quite stiff and less likely to initiate a false move and I could see an emergency. I decided to leave the holes alone and just let the spiked underside grip and keep the mats on the ground, which works great in both machines. Comparing to Weather Tech I can say that this material is much less malleable and of lower quality than the Weather Tech product for the same vehicle. The material also feels thinner. To me the cost makes up for the difference in quality and practicality so I don't think these rugs are a 'bargain' as you really are getting a lower quality product for the money. Also, out of the two kits I bought, I only paid $140 for the kit due to weird Revain prices listed in my shopping cart. If you really want your mats to fit perfectly and don't like that sort of thing, I think it's best to avoid Husky insoles. If you just want to protect the bottom of your new Cherokee without worrying about improper fit or poor quality floor mats, then go for them.
