This is the best dog coat I have ever seen in terms of design, fit and warmth. The jersey fits very well but does not have the ability to stop the wind. And most K9 coats have a coat style like a horse coat and don't do anything for the bottom. Strigs.Reflective stripes on ethereal side too.Zipper is on back and chest panel is thick elastic fabric.Yes I'm sure it will rip with activity.Show me my coat which isn't.I have one very active dog and a decent set for sewing. I'll update when we get to 7 winter months here in North Dakota. An hour south of the Canadian border. Warmth and functionality is my goal. TO UPDATE. Coat fits great and stays in place during class. No potty problems. Very warm and neck area stays well covered. There are no breaks yet, since the dog has not yet gone into the forest, but has swept through the bushes several times. So far, so good.
