The first bottle I bought was durable but didn't hold heat as well as I had hoped. The coffee got hot in an hour and cold in a second. At the same time as the first purchase, I received the same color and size for my girlfriend, and everything works perfectly with her. My bottle was recently stolen so I bought a second one thinking mine might be defective. To my surprise, the second works very well, keeping liquids hot for well over an hour. My biggest problem with all bottles is that they leak despite the gasket under the cap. This is due to a design flaw in the hinged top of the lid. There might be some inconsistencies in the production, but the world can be an imperfect place.
