Suitable for 1D style barcodes

There are some aspects that I really like about this barcode scanner, while others I wish were different. Here's what I like: - The stylish design is very convenient as it makes it easy to scan products, ID cards, etc. - It works well with simple one dimensional barcodes like Code 39, ISBN etc. - It detects if there is motion in front of the scanner so it wakes up quickly and scans the subject well. - Compatible with Mac, Windows, etc. What I don't like about it: - It uses an Ethernet to USB cable, which makes the device seem a little "slow". - The beep (when scanning a barcode) is slightly louder. This is great if you work in a noisy warehouse, but it's not optimal for quieter environments like libraries, schools, offices, etc. I wish there was an easy way to adjust the volume. - Seems to scan smaller QR codes well, but I had trouble scanning larger ones. As he scanned them, he seemed to cut off some of the data. All in all, if you work in a noisy warehouse and need to scan 1D barcodes (Code 39, ISBN, etc.) then this is probably a good option for you.
