I've been experimenting with brewing my own decaffeinated tea concentrate and using grated ginger and ground spices it was VERY messy to strain everything out of the liquid with cheesecloth. It changed the rules of the game. The very thin weave keeps 99% of the solids out of the water and I only had to use one because I can rinse and reuse it. It has been in use for a few months now and is in excellent condition apart from the discolouration from the spices. The other two are still in the package, waiting to be deployed when the first finally fails. No indication that this is happening in a hurry.
