This worked really well. I've used them in 6" paper lanterns. The two complaints I had were that the strings were too long for the 6" lights and the light was hanging from below. So I had to cut and connect them. The second Problem is the set has both bright white and warm white light. Colors didn't match. So I didn't use a few or grouped them away from the others so you can't see the color contrast. Other than that I liked them. We attached them at our shed and they stayed two nights (turned off during the day) I'm sure they have more life in them and they are easy to turn on and off just by pulling or pushing the plastic tab.
