I love this blanket. I have the blue version from the same company and I expect great customer service and quality products. I love sleeping cool and hate heat (I'm a heater and sweat easily) and their products combined with my eucalyptus sheets make my bed amazing. I bought pillowcases and three blankets, now I have two of their blankets left. They're soft, light, snuggly and oddly I wear one under the duvet and it keeps me cooler than the duvet itself. The secret is to use the silky side against yourself when you want to be cool and when it's too outside is cold, turn it over to the less silky side. The difference is amazing and for a duvet it's extremely light which is great for me and for people who either like to sleep under a flat sheet or want their duvets to be lighter and less smothering. It can definitely be used as a standalone blanket and is so light that it can easily be taken with you when you travel. I have two. And you can bet that I will buy and try all new products of the same variety. Fingers crossed for fitted sheets. My only minor "complaint" is that I wish they could print labels on the corner because I hate labels, but that's my own laziness.
