Does what it's supposed to do
As long as you don't leave it in the pan when the pan goes in the oven, it works pretty well. If you have a cast iron skillet that takes a long time to heat up, don't expect it to be cool to the touch. And a little tight to get one of the handles on it. But it does its job.
