Perfect fit. You must connect to the license plate light circuit for the light to work and the only thing that could improve it would be if it came with this fitting rather than cut and spliced. But if you're smart enough to install it yourself then they'll assume you can handle a one or two wire connection. Very clear image and guidelines present. It seems to work reasonably well in low light or at night with the car's reverse lights. Volvo doesn't give you a good position on the XC70, so kudos to anyone who had the idea of using license plate lights.
