Are you serious? They should not be sold for masonry applications. They account for about 33% of the required length. You can't hold one of these over the cord and hit the head of a nail with a hammer without breaking your finger or thumb. Even if you drill a pilot hole, the nail is too small to hold and drive in at the same time. The nail is hardened but because the grout will chip if you try to hammer it instead of making your own hole. Spend a little more money and buy masonry cable anchors that are really designed for use in masonry. These are interior wooden brackets that someone is trying to pass off as masonry for the upsell.
