What's not to like? It's very solidly built. My only concern is the fact that the threaded part is also aluminum. I wish the real screw was stainless steel. Perhaps the manufacturer keeps the same design of the grip in the revision, but adds a stainless steel hex mounting screw. Maybe they didn't do it for abrasion and wanted to prevent the screw from seizing, but personally I would be more comfortable with a stronger and less pliable material for the screw itself. A tiny drop of engine oil can help prevent seizure. In any case, this one is not much bigger than the other plastic variants and the idea of using aluminum instead of plastic convinced me.
