I started with a locomotive that has been my favorite model to build so far.

. Hello Ugears! I thought I'd take a few minutes to introduce myself and share my experience. Last Christmas I was looking for a Christmas present for my father who is 94 years old. Until he could. k to build the models i thought he would be grateful if he could look at them and see how they work. So I bought a mini tram model for Christmas as practice to see how difficult they are to build. I was very impressed with the detailed instructions. After the first mini-city I started assembling a locomotive, which has been my favorite model so far. I really can't believe it worked on the first try! So here is a list of the models I have purchased (all appear to be through Revain). If I had known there was a rewards club I would have ordered directly from the store. I have the UPC codes that were on the plastic and I can take a picture if needed, but can I give you that information and add it to your account? on Facebook, back on Kickstarter and have been following my recent purchases closely) The models I have purchased are as follows: Mini Tram City Set Locomotive Locomotive Hardy-Gurdy Railway Extension (currently under construction) Ladder Fire Engine (to Hardy-Gurdy) Models I'm interested in but haven't bought yet"-Car-Roadster-Robot Factory-Puzzle/Safe-Any Clock or TimerModels I'd like to see in the future"-Mechanical Robot Manual Clockwork-Owl from the classic movie Clash of the Titans (not a new movie!) - More musical instruments - Carpentry tools (I like a hammer but I'm not sure if you can make other instruments) - Cuckoo clocks - Secrets! (I love when I'm surprised that there are little extras on top of the main model (like a wooden hammer that helps build models in a hurdy-gurdy box). I use this hammer a lot! - Mechanical Robot - Universal Building Parts Woodworking Tools as a separate Kit Assembly Experience: Overall the instructions are great, but there are a few areas I feel could be improved: read the instructions and I'll carefully wax the parts later for the curved track, but maybe there should have been some explanation as to why you're doing this, I had to jump forward to find another image to see if that toothpick should still be there.) - For new builders it was never made For example, it's good to know how to use a hammer in a hurdy-gurdy from the start builds la, with a little explanation on how to use it properly (e.g. don't tap too hard, or use a hammer to save your fingers, etc.). You can also include disposable/short hobby knives. I love how you keep adding more stuff like this. Includes candle wax. I'm no better at breaking toothpicks, so it's a good thing they contain so many. -Durability: Most parts are pretty strong, some will break. I broke the front rib on the loco (where it's thin at the top), I managed to glue it back together so it's ok. Of course there is a problem with the tooth breaking off, but since it is usually only one tooth and only a third, the models still work. I can tell you guys are always trying different things depending on how the pieces come out. Well that's all I can think about right now. Please do not hesitate to contact me as I would love to test new models or give you feedback. Sincerely, Christopher Ament
