They work fine. They're smaller and have a lower profile than plastic bottles, but they only hang down - you can't lift one side like plastic bottles.
- STRONGER, RELIABLE AND SECURE: Each shackle can hold up to 47,400 pounds, more than standard steel shackles. The soft shackle is also extremely secure as it doesn't become a deadly projectile like steel shackles if your rescue line or winch line breaks. An additional protective sleeve helps increase friction when towing by protecting the rope from abrasion.
