If you need a 3m Lightning cable for your Apple devices, this is the one you should buy, and for good reason. Not to mention the durability (great) or that the cable needs to be MFI certified (it is), but because it's the ONLY thing unless you buy fakes (they're everywhere) and really worth getting a few to save dollars. on a cable ruining your device? Other certified MFIs are not suitable for the more powerful unit required for lighting. (33W, 40W Apple) The rest only runs at 12W, which defeats the purpose. I suppose you could buy an adapter but why? Tech sites should clarify this. I first bought a brand I trust but encountered a problem and returned it.
