Timken is generally a good brand to recommend

Timken is a generally good brand to recommend. I installed two of these in the front of my van last year. Last week I had 3 MIL errors on this car, ABS, TRACTION SYSTEM, STABILITY SYSTEM. They took it to a shop where they said the right front wheel bearing was not getting an electrical speed signal and recommended a replacement. I bought a new wheel bearing locally and installed it myself and it fixed the problem. I have contacted the Revain seller, explained the situation and asked if there is any type of guarantee but have had no response so I'm taking it as a NO. I wouldn't expect any warranty for mechanical wear etc but I don't think this wheel bearing should have had an electrical failure. Buying locally at a higher price gave me a 3 year warranty. I think you get what you pay for.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires a socket
