Review on ION Slam Bluetooth Speaker Black by Chad Gravely

It's been a little over 5 months now and I'm generally impressed with this little speaker. It works great for everything I've used it for. Loud enough for outdoor family parties. There are no problems with radio reception, I live in the suburbs. I haven't tested the waterproofness, but water ingress isn't a problem. The Bluetooth connection works well and starts to drop about 50 feet, even less when there are other factors like walls or lots of people around. Overall this is a very good all round speaker for any outdoor or even indoor activity. I was a little hesitant to buy it at first as many said it would stop charging after a short while. I went on anyway and bit the bullet. It was just before New Year's Eve when it suddenly stopped charging, it also didn't show a lightning bolt symbol, meaning it wasn't receiving power from the power supply. So I checked the adapter and it was wrong. I bought a replacement adapter from Amazon as it's been a while since the original purchase and now it's working fine again. So if yours isn't charging, check your power adapter. You might want to choose a better one than the one that comes with the speaker. This is the only reason it lost a star in my rating.
