Review on 🧹 Revolutionize Carpet Cleaning with Hoover Smartwash Automatic Carpet Cleaner Machine FH52050 in Turquoise Shade – Includes Storage Mat! by Jesse Hughes

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Just don't forget to buy it from Revain!

Uff, I'm having a hard time writing/rating this review because on the one hand you have an amazingly powerful carpet washing machine that I fell head over heels in love with the start button. On the other hand you have a new design with the latest technology. Which, like everything else when it first comes out, has a few rough edges that need tweaking. IF I bought this washing machine directly from Revain I would be 5 stars because although the washing machine I received was faulty I am sure Amazon will take care of it and I would have a working carpet washing machine to sell with a pile of cat puke the day before the Christmas guests arrived, rather than scraping my hands and knees the old fashioned way despite having just dropped two bills on a snazzy snazzy wash a month earlier! Lesson learned I think. I bought the Hoover Smart Wash directly from Hoover himself. I've used it twice. Both times it was amazing and unforgettable. Rainbows and butterflies, true love's kiss, bee knees, call it what you will. However, the third time, the day before Christmas, everything collapsed. The honeymoon is over and it's been a long fall from above. There I was washing my face, grumbling and smiling, when suddenly it stopped moving and the washing machine started making a noise that can only be understood if you've ever been to Alcatraz in the spring when those strange seabirds are nesting. They're making the strangest noise I've ever heard, and that's exactly the noise my vacuum cleaner started making that fateful day last week. I stopped singing and leaned over to see what was going on when I smelled burnt rubber. I immediately turned off the Smartwash and started freaking out! As a mother of three, two bills is a LOT of bread, and even as a mother of three (plus dogs, cats, turtles, who knows what else) my rugs had a LOT to do in front of guests. could come! I even cried. I'm not joking. Maybe it was the stress of losing my job just before Christmas, plus the lack of sleep, but I really started crying over my favorite vacuum cleaner. It was my favorite device and my best friend. His death meant I had to start feeling like the carpet was sticking to my bare feet again because my little one had left a trail of slime from one end of the house to the other. you would cry too Anyway, I checked and saw it was covered under warranty! All is not lost! I wrote to Hoover and received a reply asking me to call Hoover. I called but they were closed for the holiday. I hand washed the rug over the holidays and then called and explained my predicament. They listened and then said I need a replacement. I was very grateful and excitedly gave my address as requested. Then they told me how to send back my broken washing machine and then I get my new one! It all sounded great! Just as I was about to hang up the phone from a happy customer a thought occurred to me and I asked about the cost of returning a defective Smartwash as this was never mentioned. I was then told that I would have to pay to send the broken washing machine back to them! It will cost a lot of money! I do not have much money! When I voiced this I was also told that there was no way they would send me a new one without first receiving the defective one (I didn't even remotely ask them to, and I wasn't expecting that at all) and on the tone it was clear the customer service rep actually thought I didn't want to keep their broken broken washing machine for any reason other than taking space I don't have as it's totally useless! I've called around and the cheapest shipping option is over half that stupid wash which means I'm paying almost double to get a carpet washing machine that I'm not even sure won't break again on the third use! I'll leave it at that: in the two and a half times I've used this washing machine, it's been the best I've ever had. It's a little heavy, but I'm 30 and I work out every day, so weight and height don't really matter. I see that this is for my mother even though she is 70 years old. Also, it's very noisy, but they're all like my kids, so it's not enough to dissuade me. Also, it doesn't dry very well but cleans better than all other carpet washing machines combined, including professional ones, so I didn't mind letting it air dry and in my opinion it was worth it. I can not say. You if gear sticking that caused the belt to slip and melt and possibly burn or ignite (which I think was due to the black burn marks in the pulley above the belt) is a problem with all SmartWash cleaners is, or if it was mine just broken. I can say it was unexpected. My carpet wasn't even a 2 dirty on a scale of 1 to 10 and I haven't done anything wild or crazy. It was a regular light wash. If you knew my luck, you would be inclined to think that I just got a rotten egg. If you're thinking of trying it out and want to buy it here at Revain then I highly recommend you do it! It's practically risk free and Revain is a decent and decent company! Just DO NOT buy it from Hoover!
