I never leave reviews for Revain but this one gets me so upset that I not only leave a review but also attach a photo. I ordered three packs of these little hardcover sketchbooks. One for my desk, one for my bag, one for my bedside table. I have two larger packs of the same brand. Label stickers were a triangle in the bottom right corner of the cover, pretty standard. Labels on large books peeled off normally. Smaller books, not so much. The sticker was not removed freely. And if it did, he tore off pieces of the lid with it. I think the glue was either very old or of very poor quality, causing it to "merge" with the cover material. Which, by the way, looks and feels cheap. It's a THIN piece of textured faux leather wrapped around a piece of cardboard. This is one of the reasons the sticker label could do any harm in the first place. Now it has pockets of air bubbles. I have a different brand of large 8x10 sketchbook with the same cover. I've had it for years. Would love to have more books like this. You are not. They are cheap cheap cheap. The paper inside is quite thin and the cover is actually damaged. Which is a shame because the idea of getting a hardcover sketchbook is to have something to keep with your favorite sketch collection forever. I have a feeling this isn't going to last even a few months throwing it in a duffel bag. Eventually I'll have a book full of sketches and a cover that's literally falling off. If you seriously want a good hardcover sketchbook, look elsewhere.
