Just 3 hours later, it's time for my late-night "cocktail hour," so I choose a larger glass, place 3 of these cubes in it, and pour in 3 ounces. good, room temp, bourbon on top. They chilled the bourbon to a drinkable temperature and kept it "cold" for the duration of the drink. I used to use round stones from Rocks but I don't really like them. They seem to freeze over time. decompose, and I wouldn't like to consume the remains of an unknown Chinese stone with my bourbon. I've been using these "cubes" for about a week and continue to put them in the freezer separate from their tray. For the second sip, I take 2 "fresh” cubes from the freezer (two fit perfectly in my "regular” glass) and put the "used” cubes back in the freezer. This "experiment" gave me a great idea to pass on to you, I've started keeping my bourbon in the fridge and with these "cubes" it's even better (I would keep it in the freezer, but there is not enough space).
