Review on Kaunosta Universal Omni Directional Extension Wireless Networking Products by Joe Duncan

TLDR: This antenna is no better than the stock antenna. . This item should be "High Gain" for better Wi-Fi signal. After replacing my OEM antenna on two different Wi-Fi devices (Alfa 2.4GHz and Pepwave 2.4GHz), neither showed any signal improvement. This applies to sending and receiving traffic. I used a signal measurement tool so I wasn't the only one guessing the performance. Also, adding the included extension cable to improve signal quality by moving the antenna not only didn't help, it actually degraded the signal. Every time I plugged an extension cord into the configuration, I saw about a 20% loss of the overall signal. Very disappointed.
