I really like this toothpaste, but I noticed brown spots on the edges of my teeth that appeared a few days after starting to use it. This is my first time using stannous fluoride toothpaste and after doing some research I found out that it can stain. I'm pretty sure it's because of that. I have never had this problem with other toothpastes and although I have been a coffee drinker/occasional smoker for over 20 years I have always had amazingly naturally white teeth. It definitely helps with sensitivity and I love how much cleaner my mouth is after brushing when I use it. In that regard I like this toothpaste more than Sensodyne because it has never been so clean and fresh when I have used this brand. However, staining is a big problem - so I had to use bleach to remove the stain, which turned into a deeper, darker brown. Unfortunately I will have to stop using it and go back to Sensodyne or a stannous fluoride free product.
