Keeps ice about two days depending on how much you put in could of course be longer. Therefore the water is always cold. My first 128 ounces were from Walmart but the top was never sealed. I was very happy when I tested it in a closed area. Even on very hot days (I work outside) it stays very cool and keeps me hydrated all day.
