The 30 year old black leather steering wheel and gear knob in my car were showing their age. The leather was in good condition but the color had faded. After using a leather cleaner/conditioner, which actually removed more color (avoid Weiman products!), I decided to try a color refresher. The photos speak for themselves, they look and feel brand new! I used alcohol wipes to clean the skin and used the applicator that came with it to apply 2 coats. Then apply Satin Top Coat. Be sure to use gloves and protect any surfaces you work with. Allow sufficient time for the product to cure according to the instructions provided. After putting it back in the car and working with it, I'm sure the coating will last a long time. But I will update this review later with more information.
