Review on Schwalbe Pro One Road Race Tubeless Tire: TLE HS 493, EVO Line, Super Race Construction, Puncture Protection - 700c/650b (Single Tire) by Zachary Benjamin

I'm not a professional racer, I just drive for fun but I spend quite a bit of time outside. For those who are interested in such things, my FTP is around 3.7 w/kg and I train about 10 hours a week. It's mostly indoors, but I try to ride outside at least twice a week and try to get at least 60 miles. Now to the product. I only put one tire on my rear wheel to test before spending over $100 on a set. I installed it on a Mavic Ksyrium Elite UST drive. The first caterpillar went through without any problems. The second caterpillar wasn't bad either, but it needed tire levers. I don't have any special pumps or a compressor and my regular bike pump couldn't inflate a tire. I ended up going to a local gas station and using the air there. Once the balls were in place I was able to use my regular pump. My wheels are 19mm internal and the 28mm Schwalbes measure pretty much 28mm when fully inflated. Sure, I've always used 25mm tires before, but these tires are definitely more comfortable than anything I've tried. Grip is decent too, and as far as I can tell, rolling resistance is on par with the best. I often include a popular local route in my itinerary so I have enough data for it. I set a personal best on my first ride with this tire. I can't say whether it was because of my enthusiasm, a good day or the rolling resistance. What I can say is that it would be difficult for anyone to distinguish this tire from any other popular tire in the real world. One thing I would like to say is that while the tire handles well, the feedback from it is pretty muted. Overall, this tire is comfortable, fast and easy to handle. Reviews are a bit muted and due to my limited time I can't comment on durability or puncture resistance yet. Apart from that I will buy another one for my front wheel.
