Rancho RS5000X and RS55265 shocks worked fine. The Chevy Silverado 04 originally had Bilstein shocks when I bought the car 17 years ago. I bought a 2020 Silverado and this car had Rancho shocks which I liked. So why not try the Rancho shocks on my '04? What I've noticed is that the Rancho shocks aren't as stiff as the Bilsteins, which I think makes for a slightly more comfortable ride. o4 Silverado with my youngest son as he went through my other 3 sons and I.
