Review on Jasper 400J Model 400 Router Circle Cutting Jig: Precision Tool for Perfect Circular Cuts by Chad Mills

I have to give Jasper Tools 5 stars for this, at least for the excellent customer support. At first I took a chance and ordered it for two of my routers - none of them was on the list of known routers it was suitable for.(Edger Ridgid R2401 and Ryobi R161) That's fine - it gives me a reason to buy the set of routers I really need. I have to Still paying these expenses with my wife but she will give up! I borrowed a Dewalt DWP611 from a neighbor and it fitted perfectly with the floor bolts supplied, however the problem was that on the very first use I lost the alignment/centering washer (see above). packaged and attached to the base plate with 2 dowels of about 1/8" - it broke the edge of the centering disc so you now only attach it with a single dowel It wasn't critical to my project and I used the jig without it and it worked great. In the meantime I contacted Jasper and explained what happened and they very quickly sent me a new centering washer which still works I would advise anyone to carefully remove the centering washer from the base rather than gently prying it out like I did. first time. I just didn't expect it to happen. I've used this item several times (still with the neighbor's router) and it works great. Follow the instructions, even go to Jasper's website and you will see how to use this item effectively.
