Review on 🎁 Lykke Double-Pointed Needles Gift Sets - Small US 0-5 Set with Grey Denim Pouch by Kelly Caballes

I'm very picky about knitting needles. I prefer wood for DPNs, but I'm having a really hard time finding wood DPNs that are reasonably consistent, especially in the smaller sizes. I've had bad experiences with the quality of some of the better known brands of laminated birch DPN sock sizes. I knew buying this set would be a little risky, but I heard enough good reviews about Lykke needles to try them and figured I might sell them used if they weren't good enough for me. Turns out I really like her! They are sharp and well made to meet my exacting standards. I was concerned that the etched and painted part in the middle would interfere, but it didn't cause much distraction and it's nice to have the measurements on the pins. My only main complaint is that it seems they don't sell custom sizes. You must get the whole set or nothing. It is almost inevitable that the smallest sizes of wood and bamboo DPNs will begin to break down after prolonged use. I hope Lykke will offer custom sizing if I need to resize. Also, it would be nice to have a second or third set in the 2 or 3 sizes I use most! When trying to decide if this set is worth the extra money compared to the wooden DPN set of other popular needles. Manufacturer I would say if you have the money it's worth it. I'm very glad I decided to take the risk.
