Review on Sony SRS-XB33 Portable Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker (Blue) Package with Deco Essential Drawstring Bag, Cinching Tote, Backpack + 1 Year Extended Protection Plan by Agata Strzalek ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I did not regret the purchase, everything is fine.

An excellent choice for travels given the aforementioned conditions. It was not in the previous series, but the battery life indicator showed up (you have to click the button on the rear, and it gives you the percentage in English). However, I've seen that it takes more than 10,000 Xiaomi powerbanks to fully charge it (because complete discharge has been impossible so far), so it's a decent powerbank in and of itself. I believe I had to forego audio quality in the new series in order to extend the battery life, but I could be incorrect. As a regular Sony customer, I can state that this is not the company's top offering. My HK Onyx 6 doesn't make a lot of noise, so it's great for my apartment without bothering my neighbors, but I wouldn't recommend it for a house.

Pros
  • Its extended battery life, durability (may be dropped without breaking), and water resistance are all pluses. Sound quality is enhanced when performed outside. If you don't suddenly drive off, it will be under the windshield of your leased automobile.
Cons
  • Indeed, that's the truth. It's an improvement over the JBL charge 4 in terms of sound quality, with a more detailed and smooth sound and less boomy bass, but this is hardly a feat in and of itself. The equalization does not rescue much from the synthetic sound and lackluster fidelity. At a noisy store, I found that hearing first was not helpful, but I still recommend it. The prior model, xb-22 (lost), had a more refined tone but was naturally much quieter due to the absence of a battery.
