Our 3 year old was afraid to hold our guinea pigs because they are small, wavy creatures. We made this so she can "hold" them without worrying about them falling off or getting scratched. It is so beautiful. This is convenient, the piglets calm down immediately when they are in the bag, and they happily go there, knowing that she will feed them vegetables. Our little boys weren't well socialized when we got them but they warm up very quickly and will come to the edge of their enclosure if she comes in with this bandage. And it's easy to throw it in the washing machine. I'm so glad I found this, it really helps her connect with them. The only thing is that it gets very warm around the neck when wearing it, but we only use it in small increments because she is the only one using it.
