I bought this collar for my cat Simba. Actually, she doesn't want to hang around at home, so she mostly walks on the street. I used to buy her detachable collars and she easily lost them. I brought her in, gave her this collar and put it on. My mom published it before I really saw how much she liked it. This is our merit. About 3 weeks later we found her on the porch with her hand in her collar and very deep cuts under her arm. It never broke, and it wore the skin so badly that it got stuck in her wound. We took her to the vet and she had to cut and sew him up. 20 or more stitches. She is healthy and everything is fine now. I really liked the collar but it was posted here to warn potential buyers. Great product, does what it's supposed to. BUT be aware of how your pet looks and keep a close eye on them when they are using this product. It's a handy tool for most, but it can be deadly for the wrong animal. Because of this, we decided as a family that Simba would never wear a collar again. She's chipped, but it has to be done.
