Review on High-Performance Taramps Smart 3 Mono Amplifier - 3000 Watts, 1~2 Ohms, Class D by Pavel Craig

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Extremely powerful amp, rock solid

Wow, you're talking about tremendous power, my god! If you really want to see what this monster can do, you need 0 gauge, Big 3 upgrade, 0 gauge, power and ground wires. I added a large xs battery in the trunk next to the amp, I have 2 Kicker 12" Solo Baric Subs L7 in Kicker brand vented. Kicker pre built bix specially made for maximum power and good law. I have 143 dB measured. This amp draws a HUGE amount of current into a 2 ohm load, but we're much more efficient at a 1 ohm load. I know it sounds weird, but you can take a look at the dyno stand. YouTube -Video by Bug D Wiz aka Wlliston Audio He does a dyno analysis of this amp It puts out 6k watt speakers My subs thump so hard it hurts I love this amp so much I bought another Bought it just to have it and by the way I have a Midway Bass Boost is always off so the amp has a power cut off and a safety bulb that plugs in the amp and you run it forward. Just get the soft clamp because I'm still using my standard 100 amp alternator. The 250 amp legacy alternator is my next purchase. I couldn't be happier with this amp, I can bang those L7 kickers and the rumble, my whole house vibrates, I drive an 07 Scion TC and it's a hatchback so imagine how loud the bass is in my car can be. I can't break them, the amp just gets warm, not even hot, once the amp is warm you can really see extreme power starting to shine. God what an amp. I haven't had a single problem with the taramps smart 3k. The only bad thing I could say was in the box. I had no warranty stickers, no paperwork at all, I liked the fact that I knew these things should be in the box of my other 3k smart amp. I even ran this amp with a 0.5 ohm load for a few days, the amp had to be shut down more because it was still adding 1200 to 1500 watts into the 0.5 ohm load. Bass kicks, the amp would go into defense, but I believe that's because my standard oscillator can't drive it that way. Do yourself a huge favor by improving its quality, it's reliable, it's a smart amp, what more could you ask for?
