Review on 🐠 H2Pro 30" Glass Canopy: The Perfect Fit for 20 Long/29 Gallon Aquarium Fish Tank! by Robert Xayamonty

I don't write many reviews but this has worked great for me and I think it deserves a great review and I also want to add some information that might be helpful to others who review it. I bought this for a 20 gallon (long) tetra tank sold at PetSmart that didn't have a lid. The tank says it's 12" x 30" and this top fits great! The only small gap was in the back where a plastic piece of about 1/4 inch was attached, which is good for an aquarium, plus you need room for cables, filters, etc. The plastic piece wasn't difficult for me to put on, but I found that the trick is not to tighten it all the way because the more I pushed the harder they seemed to rise up, but rather snap it in from the back and then just push it all the way down if that makes sense. That being said, I've now removed all of that for the aquaponic filters I've fitted to the back (two Aqua Duo 10 filters also on Amazon). We added a Fluval aquasky 18W lamp and now we have a wonderful reservoir. Also, I was concerned about shipping such a large jar, but as other reviews have said, the packaging is AMAZING. As a postal worker, I wish everyone knew how to pack things like this seller. You are an example for everyone to prove that things like this are possible IF you pack well. Also, it's safety glass, so yes, if you drop it or hit it around it will shatter into a thousand little pieces because that's what safety glass does (but they shouldn't be sharp pieces because it's safety glass). . But it's also strong enough for my cats to jump over the top of the tank and watch the fish. So if you have cats, you don't have to worry. This is a great product and I hope it helps others with their decision. .
