I thought I'd add a word of caution for those who suffer from neurological disorders like me. I bought this to help my gerd, thinking it might help with my digestive issues. But I didn't research enough. Those who have foot and hand problems like me should slowly add alkaline water to their daily fluid intake. I thought you could just drink it like regular water, but it's not. Drinking too much alkaline water can cause terrible leg cramps. The first day after I got the filter I drank 40 ounces and that night I had the worst Charlie horse of my life. I have been dealing with Charlie's horses for over 20 years and have never been in pain like this and the usual tricks to stop Charlie's horse didn't work. And it took several days for my calf muscle to heal. So be careful when drinking alkaline water and slowly introduce it into your daily diet. Do your research. Alkaline water may not be right for you. I'm not sure if this is right for me.
