Still works - pitcher water filter

Will change the taste of the water over time. I'm not sure what will happen in the long run if you drink this modified water. I put one in my Yeti hydration reservoir for work and felt the difference, especially when I left it on overnight. It's not the zero water I like to drink, but it will be my placebo until I have access to zero water.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Gives water a strange taste

At first I was very satisfied with the purchase and felt the difference in taste in the water. After about a week, the pod gives the water an unbearable taste, chalky and very chemical. I honestly don't think it's good for health. I also ordered one for my friend and he doesn't have the same problem so maybe I have a manufacturing defect. Anyway I expect more for this price.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • communication with the seller

So glad I bought this.

I love this filter. I bought a fountain for my cats and the filters recommended for the fountain started releasing some kind of sticky liquid. I think it's because of the resin that was in them. However since I've been using this bad boy my cats have been drinking more water and if I clean the fountain every few weeks the water is still clean enough to drink. No slime, no muddy water, nada.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Infinitely slow

Caution, too much alkaline water can cause muscle cramps

I thought I'd add a word of caution for those who suffer from neurological disorders like me. I bought this to help my gerd, thinking it might help with my digestive issues. But I didn't research enough. Those who have foot and hand problems like me should slowly add alkaline water to their daily fluid intake. I thought you could just drink it like regular water, but it's not. Drinking too much alkaline water can cause terrible leg cramps. The first day after I got the filter I drank 40 ounces…

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Can I add anything
