Review on Motorcraft BR1265 Rear Re Built Brake by Shaun Helm

Does not fit parts

After having problems with this I looked to Revain for various Motorcraft part number blocks and they all have reviews of being poorly made and not fitting. Must be changed for them to work. According to this part number they fit a 2011 Ford Focus but they appear to fit. With a lot of looking and moving they finally managed to get the drum on them and yes everything was relaxed and easygoing. The play on the drum is too small to adjust the parking brake yourself. After depressing the brake pedal and resetting the parking brake actuator, they slide all the time. I took a test drive and was surprised that the bearings held and didn't catch fire. Tried repeating them again with the same result. Another brand reinstalled and they fit with plenty of room for the drum to slide around and not pull. Looking closely, I noticed slight manufacturing differences from the original Motorcraft pads. Don't think these are really Motorcraft parts. The production is terribly bad (made in China, stamped right on it). Don't buy these unless you have a magic drum expander to increase the drum size. Rockauto has many other options. Maybe just a seller. They seem to have taken a really cheap set of pads and put them in a Motorcraft box because I've never had a problem with anything else ie a genuine Motorcraft part. Don't trust them or the seller. I would put zero but it won't let me. Stay away from them. Can't explain why the seller's name is Motorcraft because it clearly isn't.
