hey I'm not completely breaking this product but I remember reading another review that said it worked but didn't, because it doesn't last for long speeds. I had the same results but it worked, gave me enough relief by holding the throttle and I just had to keep dropping it. I did an 800 mile trip from Atlanta GA to Key West FL so this contributed to the rubber band breaking on day one, but it comes with two bands which I have with large Arlenness dip cut grips , so those bands have stretched a lot, oh, pull around the front brake handle as the chrome will get scratched or damaged as it melts behind the melt. I'm keeping it until I find a better one to use
