I love this cutting board! I've had many cutting boards in my time, some large, some small. Some were very cheap, others very expensive. I had a very expensive handmade cutting board made from a large piece of wood (it's gone) but I have to say this cutting board is my favorite. It's heavy enough not to slip when I'm using it, it has a metal bracket on one end, and it's a nice piece of wood. It's a solid piece of wood so I'm not worried about it breaking into pieces if dropped. I take care of my investment: I wash them and towel dry them after each use, apply a thin coat of cutting board oil, then apply wax to cover them. Oil, wax and polishing pads are sold here at Revain. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
