Review on ACDelco Silver 14D1363CH: Top-Quality Ceramic Front Disc Brake Pad Set with Hardware for Enhanced Performance by Brad Arthur

These pads have approximately 26,000 miles (most highways to and from work) on them. For a set of ceramic pads installed with new rotors and properly lapped upon installation, this is simply unacceptable. As this is an ACDelco product I expected high quality. Problem number one is that I've never seen ceramic pads repel brake dust like this. I mean 250 miles and the wheels are all black after a wash? I had to clean the wheels from them several times a week. Live and learn, but believe me, the brand and the ceramics label are far from what they should be. I will definitely not be buying another set. They started cracking as you can see. One turned the friction surface completely and crashed into the rotor. I take very good care of my cars and now I know what not to buy. I think a set of cheap semi-metal pads will work better and last longer after that short time.
