These Biobag filter cartridges hit the mark when it comes to quality. I add some to my tetra tank and they last 3 weeks, some just 2 and some just 10 days. I've also found that they sometimes let solids seep into the tank, making the water cloudy. I have two guppies in my 5 gallon aquarium so they don't produce much organic matter themselves. They have a lot of hard water in their tank because that's what they prefer, but I expected the filters to be better than they are. I put one in the pool once only to find the next morning that the whole pool was cloudy and I had to clean the whole pool and change the water. Even with these filters I have to change the water about every 3 weeks or so. The best thing about these filters is the price, nothing more.
