🐟 Tetra Whisper Bio-Bag Filter Cartridges: Easy-to-Use Solution for Aquariums Review

I received these cartridges to replace the cartridge in the filter of my Tetra ColorFusion 20 gallon aquarium kit which I have been using for half a year (much more than I would have liked should have). These cartridges are the right size and very easy to replace: just rinse and insert into the filter. Be sure to turn off the filter before replacing it. A day after replacing the cartridge, I can already see that the water is much cleaner, now I will change it every three months.

**Do not buy if you want your fish to live** I have trusted Tetra with my flake food and goldfish filters for years, I have no idea if I have a bad batch, but as you can see from my photos a cloudy white mist entered my tank (after 100% cleaning the pumps, filter and tank) and killed my two goldfish the next day! My 9 year old daughter was in shock! I don't leave many reviews but believe me I will never use Tetra filters again!

I choose the one (for a few bucks) that's already assembled because I'm lazy and busy. Well, it just wasn't what I wanted to do. I use these (pre-fitted) filters on my daughter's 5 gallon tank and they work great. Not as much. Rinse before use, replace the old filter with a new one. Or, if you're just starting out, hook it up to the pump unit. She only has 1 fish so I don't have to change this filter often. 4-5 weeks instead of 3-4 weeks. When it comes to these filters, I choose the best price.

These Biobag filter cartridges hit the mark when it comes to quality. I add some to my tetra tank and they last 3 weeks, some just 2 and some just 10 days.
