Ordered Thursday, delivered Saturday during the extended power outage at my home which lasted 5 days. Box opened and delighted with the quality. Went to the local hardware store where the generator was, bought $12 worth of lightweight jumper wires, drilled a hole in each terminal to attach them to the inverter input terminals (nuts and washers included), attached the other end of the jumper wires to the battery of my truck. started the truck, turned on the inverter and plugged in the fridge, gas water heater and TV and we were on. Run the truck engine every 3 hours to keep the voltage above 12V (inverter gauge). I switch off the inverter at night to save the battery. In the future I will probably buy 4 deep cycle batteries and connect to one of my 10 solar panels to power the unit's onboard charger (max 300w DC is allowed) next time we are here in the 3rd world have a long downtime. California. Note. The best thing to do is screw the cables to the battery, especially the inverter terminals, but I was in a dilemma.
