I bought this after realizing that the batteries in the cameras don't last years but 6 months. Tired of climbing onto the roof to change them. The flat design of this cord allowed me to thread it through the side window, close the window, and most importantly, lock it. I love the flat design. The cable fits snugly around the camera. I don't worry about it falling out or water getting in. Bonus for us skillful people. The cord runs between these short nails in your nail gun. So if you need to attach the cable somewhere outside, it will make it faster.
- The rectangular micro USB connector is designed specifically for the Blink XT/XT2 and comes with a rubber O-ring to keep moisture out.
