Wow! Spend an hour and save $100. I didn't need a remote control or a 10-speed fan with a complicated and troublesome control board. This 4 speed fan works amazing. I bought two and just installed them and also installed a rain cover (sold separately). I've added some pictures of the 6 pin dpdt switch I installed to make it fully reversible. You just need to connect the wire that goes from the on/off control board to the motor and route it to the middle pins of the new switch. See the first photo. You can see intact power wires connected to your RV's electrical circuit. The wires in the middle of the case connect to the wires going to the motor. Be sure to "flip" the wires when connecting to the top and bottom pins/pins of the new switch. This will supply either +12 volts or -12 volts to the fan motor depending on switch selection. See second picture. In the last picture a new switch is installed with some labels I added. Bottom Line: If all you need is ventilation (like your bathroom) this is a powerful yet effective product. But if you need a fan that can ventilate and draw in fresh air at the same time, and you have DIY skills, then you can easily make this fan that can ventilate/exhaust OR draw in fresh air at the same time.
